Well I am back from Hawaii and trying to get into the Holiday spirit but wow its hard to come from such a warm tropical place to cold and Christmas/Thanksgiving right around the corner.  I truly cherished my time with my family especially Bianca, as she is 16 its hard to get 5 minutes with her let alone 5 days.  We Parasailed, Snorkled, went to a wonderful Luau, Layed out at the pool and beach, took tony on a Submarine, and of course got myself a permanent reminder of our trip with my Tattoo.  Here are a few pics of our adventure!

I'm off on vacation starting today!  I'm heading to Maui for 7 days of fun, relaxation and connection with my family.  I am so excited. Have a wonderful week, and I'll have lots of pics to share next week!

 

Monday Again?

We had a fantastic Halloween with lots of little ones running around and me getting to dress like I would like to dress everyday if I could.. LOL!  Actually how I dressed as a teenager and am not allowed to anymore!  I had so much fun scary kids that came by the house and hosting about 30 people including 15 teenage girls getting ready for their party.. I love the chaos.  Tony has a little buddy "Charlie" who is younger than he is and he watches out for her and loves her dearly.  In the top pic he is hugging her and the bottom they are holding hands.. so cute!

Well as you can see, I have been a little preoccupied with the New Moon movie coming out in less than a month!  I am going to be making a bunch of things that you can wear to the premiere to show your PRIDE!  Whether your Team Edward or Jacob, I'll make jewelry for everyone! 

I am going to the premiere of the movie then seeing it again at midnight with all my friends and I can't wait!  I have been asked alot about doing the Altered Twilight Book Class again, if I can get enough interest, I will offer it again before we do New Moon in January!  If your interested in taking the Twilight Altered Book Class, email me at theartlife@yahoo.com and I'll start a list of people with an interest!

Happy Weekend!

Hi Everyone!  I am getting things ready for my fun weekend at Scrapbook Territory this afternoon and then tomorrow as well!  I am teaching make and takes today starting at 2pm, and teaching the Artist Tray tomorrow afternoon.

Big thanks to both C&T Publishing and Craft Critique for posting my goodies!  I love using the C&T Publishing products and they are a fantastic company to work with!  

On another note, New Moon is less than 1 month away from opening and I am as giddy as a schoolgirl and can't wait to see it with all my friends at the prescreening!  I am busy making jewelry so if you need something cool and one of a kind, check out the ETSY store for some great New Moon inspired jewels!

Things are better!

Not sick anymore, been inspired all weekend, and many things to talk about!  First, I am so excited to show you the October Kit "Something Wicked" before October is over!  Its a perfect 6x6 album filled with Basic Grey Eerie and The Art Life images!  This one will be great to put all your new Halloween photos of this year or last!  Everything included and you can get it HERE on my ETSY store.

I also am making these limited edition Edward of New Moon Watch Pendant Necklaces which are also available in the ETSY store.  These are beautiful reproduction watch bodies filled with the beautiful Edward, or if you'd like a picture of Jacob, just let me know, I'll make one with him as well.  I am so excited!  We are only 30 days away from the premiere, and I got special screening tickets to see it earlier in the day on the 19th of November.  I have a few extra tickets to this special event and will make them available to a few friends if you email me quick!

 
I also finished my Basic Grey Class "I Am Grateful" and it really is one of the most beautiful books I have done.  It is filled with the Porcelain line, and is very meaningful and I hope my family will treasure this little work of art.  This class will be offered on Wednesday November 4th at Scrapbook Territory starting at 6pm.  If you aren't able to make this class, email me and I will save you a kit.  

Finally, Last weekend, I taught the Halloween Artist Tray along with Julee Hermann teaching her fantastic Jewelry Soldering.. it was a blast.  See the Photo Album to the top left to see all the fun we had that day!  I'll be teaching this Artist Tray on Sunday October 25th at Scrapbook Territory, come join us!  510-559-9929, then I'll be doing a make and take afternoon on October 24th starting at 2pm with mini shadow boxes!  It will be a fun filled weekend at Scrapbook Territory for me!

Basic Grey Classes

Quick note - I have sent out confirmations to everyone coming to the Mistresses of Macabre II.  If you registered or thought you registered and did not receive an email from me, email me immediately so we can get it set up!

I am going to be teaching 3 Basic Grey sponsored classes at Scrapbook Territory over the next few months.  They will all be held on a weeknight and these are the "standard" photos, but mine will be embellished a bit more with a little "Daniela" thrown in for good measure!  I absolutely loved their new releases and with these featured classes, I hope I can inspire you with their beautiful papers and embellishments.

The dates are:

I have been so busy, I have tried to get on here to post, then the dogs start barking, Tony starts whinning.. oh you know the famous distractions.  But the crafting life is great!  I had a full weekend of friends and laughter, the best time with Iva Wilcox coming in to teach her wonderful Beeswax class, and now getting ready to have Julee Hermann here on Saturday to teach Jewelry Soldering!  We still have a few spots left so if you have been wanting to learn come join us!  I'll also be teaching the fantastic 7Gypsies Artist Tray filled with goodies!  Lunch friends, crafting.. a perfect day!  Here are some pics of the class last week.  I'll post more this week for sure!
